What is Gardening?
In the simplest sense, garden design is the process of planning and planting a new garden. Gardening involves design, preparation and maintenance, similar to landscaping, but gardening typically only involves the plant life in a room.
Gardening means growing plants and flowers from a single plant to a whole range of plants, from planting to planting.
Gardening also includes growing plants in pots or in the soil and caring for them. Garden designers, however, are not going to create your garden for you; you will have to go to a landscaping business to bring your plan to life.
For the overall design plan, gardeners may also collaborate with a landscape design team to integrate the garden and plant life.
What is Landscaping?
Landscaping is the method by which you turn your landscape (front or backyard) into your own sanctuary.
Landscaping includes integrating elements of architecture, such as the installation of retaining walls, roads, the construction of small structures within an environment, such as pergolas, gazebos, patios, the installation of water features, pools and other features.
The aim of landscaping is to increase your outdoor space's attractiveness, functionality and value. Aspects of gardening, such as the construction of new garden beds, planting trees, plants and flowers, can also require landscaping.
Landscapers and Gardeners Working Together
Through their in-house gardening squad, landscape design departments also work together. They will draw a template for a garden together and decide a list of plants.
Gardeners, however, only plant, weed, grow, replace and harvest different plants. While all other elements of your outdoor space are designed and developed by the landscape team.
